Elizabeth Eden has a doctorate in phonology (the sound systems of human languages), and has taught phonetics (speech sounds) and English pronunciation for over a decade. She is a tutor on UCL's famous Summer Course in English Phonetics (which is good fun, and highly recommended to teachers of English and advanced students alike!)

Her aim as a tutor is that you come away with the tools you need to continue learning without her – including enthusiasm for the subject! Learning can be hard work, but it should always be interesting too.
